A traditional herbal supplement that helps maintain a healthy digestive system by establishing the body’s natural balance. Bao He Wan is a classical formula for problems due to food stagnation. Food stagnation produces accumulation of Qi and mucus in the digestive tract, and may be due to either deficiency of spleen Qi or excess stagnation of liver Qi with heat. This product effectively addresses the end result, namely accumulation of food and mucus in the middle burner.

Actions:
Dispels food stasis, harmonizes the stomach, stems counterflow ascent of stomach Qi, clears heat, dispels damp, tonifies spleen Qi, promotes digestion.
Indications:
Use for acute or chronic food stagnation, with symptoms of indigestion, epigastric or abdominal bloating or distension, belching, hiccups, nausea, poor appetite, or poorly formed stools. Useful in morning sickness, motion sickness, overeating, and to alleviate hangover. Also in infantile disorders due to food stagnation, including colic, poor appetite, abdominal distension and nocturnal cough with abundant expectoration.
Directions:
Take 8 pills, 3 times a day.
