Indications and Combinations: | 1. Deficient blood of the heart manifested as irritability, insomnia, nervousness, palpitations and anxiety. *Use with Wild jujube seed (Suan zao ren) and Schisandra fruit (Wu wei zi). 2. Night sweating due to yin deficiency. *Use with Ginseng (Ren shen), Oyster shell (Mu li) and Schisandra fruit (Wu wei zi). 3. Constipation due to excess dryness in the intestines. *Use with Apricot seed (Xing ren), Bush-cherry seed (Yu li ren) and Peach seed (Tao ren) in the formula Wuren Wan. |
