Indications and Combinations: | 1. Insomnia, forgetfulness and irritability due to depression or anger. Emotional imbalance, excessive worry, fright, nightmares, paranoia. *Use with Arborvitae seed (Bai zi ren) and Multiflower knotweed (Ye jiao teng). 2. Swelling and pain due to external injury. *Use with Chinese angelica root (Dang gui) and Chuanxiong rhizome (Chuan xiong). 3. Carbuncles and furuncles. *Use with Wild chrysanthemum flower (Ye ju hua), Dandelion herb (Pu gong ying) and Forsythia fruit (Lian qiao). 4. Lung abscesses with expectoration of blood with phlegm. |
